Hi, I'm John Azevedo. I have been navigating the world of nutrition for optimal health for over a decade now. I have practiced as a dietitian in clinical, sports, community, and even corporate settings. No matter the setting, my goal is always to help my clients improve the way they feel. We work together to set small, actionable lifestyle changes in order to build a solid foundation of health on which to create a life of fulfillment. What to expect when working with me: -Nonjudgemental / Positive conversations focused on your aspirations -A research based approach adapted to your needs and style -Support in all areas needed to build a healthy life, not just food -No "one size fits all" diet prescriptions. I work with you, your preferences, and your food beliefs to build a plan that you can do with confidence -Optimistic Accountability. I won't attack you for slipping up, I will help you problem solve and find a different route to achieve your goals -A teammate who is here to work with you, not against you I currently accept Medicare (for Diabetes and Renal Failure) United Healthcare, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Hills Physicians plans. Many insurances require a doctor's referral, or a certain medical diagnosis to cover nutrition counseling. I'm happy to help you figure out if my services are covered.
